Our History

From late November 1991 an Establishment Officer was employed to set up a Legal Centre in Newcastle.
In March 1992 a Project Officer and a Solicitor were employed with funds, hours of operation and casework limited. The present Hunter Community Legal Centre is committed to serving the community of the Hunter.
